In this Old Town residence, the outdoor spaces are defined by flooring patterns and colors. A mix of stone and ipe panels compliment the cedar screening, which blocks unwanted alley views. Up top, ceramic wood tiles mimic the interior floors, creating a fluid outward extension framed by fiberglass planter boxes filled with sun-loving perennials to enliven and brighten the beautiful space.
