Wicker Park

A contemporary aesthetic that combines style and efficiency, this Wicker Park deck acts as an extension of the client’s interior space. Inspired by the eclectic aspects of the home’s interior, various uses of mixed media were implemented to add contrast and depth to the functionality of its design, in a way that provides privacy while offering a space in which to relax or entertain. Ceramic “wood” tiling sits atop a modular pedestal system to gain hassle-free access below, while stained cedar mimics the look of Ipe. Live plant trays and fiberglass planter boxes offer a peaceful escape to get away from the noise of the city.
