Welcome to the epitome of Summer Bliss at our client's second home, on Lake Michigan. Tasked with crafting an outdoor sanctuary that seamlessly integrates with the architectural marvel of the home, Reveal Design embarked on a journey that marries functionality with timeless beauty.

In collaboration with our client from the early building phase, we transformed the yard into a haven of entertainment and relaxation. The result is a function-first outdoor space that stands as a testament to both sophistication and enduring allure. From a thoughtfully designed patio to two decks, an infinity pool, a hot tub, a fire table, a lush turf area, and carefully curated plantings throughout—every element plays a part in creating an ambiance that captures the essence of endless summer.

This Michigan retreat boasts some of the most breathtaking lake views, and our design ensures that each space complements the stunning sunsets over the water. A neutral palette of warm colors and green tones harmonizes with the coastal architecture, creating a seamless blend between nature and design.

The bluestone patio beneath the deck sets the stage for poolside dining, transitioning into a mix of bluestone and turf for sun lounge seating—an intentional material shift that adds a touch of softness and complements the pool area's inviting ambiance. Glass railings on the deck and pool keep the views unobstructed, prioritizing safety without compromising the breathtaking scenery.

In our commitment to local landscaping, we specified sand-tolerant trees and shrubs that harmonize with the local soil conditions and weather exposure. The upper deck hosts a custom aluminum grill and serving bar—a seamless extension of the indoor kitchen, creating an outdoor space that beckons for an endless summer of laughter, relaxation, and cherished moments.
